Head Chefs required – We are Talent Spotting

Salary - £28-32,000 basic plus bonus plus tips of £60-80 per wk

Potential for Healthcare and Pension with review in year one

We are recruiting for a business which is due to undergo an extensive refit & face lift, including new kitchen to transform it into a modern, stylish restaurant.

You will be required to build a new team and to develop quickly a culture of support and hard work with strong controls for finance and Health and Safety. The Menus will be relatively simple yet interesting and seasonal and the team should be able to deliver quality and consistency. 10/10/5 is an idea of menu size with daily specials

Our client expects strong leadership, good financial management, high standards of health & hygiene and the ability to buy and manage stock to achieve the required profitability. Suppliers are negotiated for you however you are expected to manage quality on the backdoor.

To be successful you will;

•Be an established Sous / Senior Sous Chef with a minimum of 2 years experience or strong Head Chef looking for a new challenge within a great group.

•Be able to demonstrate a strong and stable background with a great working attitude

•Have fresh produce experience of a busy pass (in excess of 100 covers weekend services)

•Good quality Casual Dining Restaurant experience preferred although not essential

•Be able to produce and demonstrate food that stands up to 1AA rosette or bib gourmand standrad

•Be a good communicator and leader as you will be working with a brigade of 6+
