Notes	Head Chef required - Busy Gastro Pub Salary - £28-32,000 basic plus bonusPotential for Healthcare and Pension with review in year one This is a well known local pub, which has recently increased its weekly turnover by £10,000, and are confident that by the height of summer they will be achieving around £60,000 per week F&B. This is due to a combination of a few strong, key players both front and back of house and full support from the owners. You will be required to develop a new and exciting specials menu to work alongside a Modern European menu which has a successful, existing format. Our client expects strong leadership, good financial management, high standards of health & hygiene and the ability to buy and manage stock to achieve the required profitability. As the market improves further sites will be opened providing career opportunities and broader job roles. To be successful you will • Be an established Sous / Senior Sous Chef with a minimum of 2 years experience or strong Head Chef looking for a new challenge within a great group. • Be able to demonstrate a strong and stable background with a great working attitude• Have fresh produce and high volume experience (£25,000 per week on food alone)• Some Gastro / Restaurant experience preferred although not essential• Be able to produce and demonstrate food that stands up to 1AA rosette• Be a good communicator and leader as you will be working within brigades of 7+ In return you will be offered • An attractive basic salary of between £28- 32,000 depending on level and experience• Tips & Bonus of up to £5000 per annum• Excellent career prospects If you meet the above criteria and would like to find out more please contact Ben Hemmings on 01827 55130 or alternatively please send a copy of your up to date CV and covering letter to ben@kitchen-connections.co.uk
